The Pub Church turns 3 today!

The Pub Church turns 3 years old! Three years ago we got together to help form a church we felt good about participating in, that would be fun, and where we could encounter the Divine and one another anew. Well, we're still at it! learning new things along the way and sticking to some of the old too - like eating and drinking together!

So, let's celebrate! We will be celebrating with a potluck dinner that will be extra delicious! And it will be organized so that it's all well balanced. ** Let me know if you would like to bring something delicious to contribute. You can email me, Xochitl, at xalvizo-at-gmail-dot-com.

Happy New Year! We're back at the Dugout!

Join us this Saturday, January 8th, as we make our way back to The Dugout - 722 Commonwealth Ave. Boston, 02215.

The last two weeks that they were closed we met at Xochitl, Jesse, and Wes' place for celebratory meals. But now we are back to our pub church home.

We will have Andrew Tripp leading and Connor Wood sharing his musical talents. I'm sure it will be a great first pub church of the year!

And on another note, this Thursday 1/6, Marie, our friend from Denmark, is being interviewed on national Danish television about The Pub Church! She was here in Boston this past fall for a semester abroad as part of her PhD Practical Theology program and was a regular pub church participant. She had previously written an article on our pub church two years ago after her first visit to us - now she is the native "Pub Church" expert in Denmark! Wish her luck on her first television appearance! Yay Marie!

See you soon and Happy New Year!

-Xochitl
